The weather is still bad
Metra 6 minutes away, call in the background
I'm not sure I see only Miks.
In the second movie Miks climbs to the edge of the nest bowl.

Nice work, Mammy Metra
Hope next year she will eat only one egg during incubation and not both as Grieta did 3 years ago. Looks like after Kain-and-Abel season LSEs either lay only one egg or leave one egg.

I noticed it seemed very much smaller the only time I saw it.

It was Metra that killed Mairas. Infanticide, not kainism.

I agree, it was quite fast and that seems much the better option.Fleur wrote: it sounds weird, but I'm a little glad that we have to look no further struggle

Asteria, one thing the collection of history gives me hope, that it is within the laws of statistics for our nests to do pretty well this year. I read the front page article and became a little worried, but now I think perhaps this will be the year the rest of the chicks survive. (I guess I know chance doesn't really work like that, but I will continue to think this year is going to be their year)Fleur wrote:@ thank you asteria, I save the link / page

Thanks nature, it is over.
Now we can watch with a good feeling, a wonderful LSE growing and leaving - hopefully - healthy.
