11:26 - Metra is calling now and then, and the unknown bird is calling constant..it`s windy.

This is whistling of oriole (Oriolus oriolus)

15:12 Metra got a big vole from Macho, it was not easy to swallow it whole

Thank you for your answer Vainamoinen The norwegian name for Oriole is Pirol, but we do not have the species here unfortunately..

I have a picture from the food delivery at 15:12. When I compare my picture with Beas, I think I must have taken the picture just when Metra swallow the large vole..

I have not seen Macho in the nest for some days, so it was nice to meet him again

18:08 - It's a windy afternoon:

It has been raining and Metra is wet. A Wood Pigeon was calling, among many other birds.
19:54 - The leaves on the trees grow, and it turns green around Metra..

I heard Metra anouncing Macho and she was very excited ...


... and the reason was the prey he brought


... she nearly fell out of the nest when grabbing it


... looks like the leftovers of a fish (???)

She saved the prey on the other side of the nest ...


... and began to rip it .... must have been delicious






Just when I began to ask myself what she would do with the bones when she was ready, the cam was freezing
So I can only guess that she took it out of the nest because I can`t see them any more ....

Oh, I missed Machos food delivery
