In a few minutes I'll pack Blacky to go for a check-up with the dermatologists (her new fan club) and thought it's time for a short update. Blacky has been stable since her last appointment in the clinic, she is eating well (I think she put on some weight, I'll let them check) and we've had no alarming breathing episodes. But - I think it's slowly going downhill, the breathing rate is bit by bit increasing, that's why I called the clinic already, to ask for one of the cardiologists to take a few minutes for talking. I suppose that's a general sign for the illness taking its course. I guess instead of lowering the dose of the medicament we will have to raise it bit by bit, to give her the air she needs.

We are back, Blacky was a very good girl again! Unfortunately on the skin side nothing changed, so most probably it's a kind of food allergy. But they agree with me, in her condition the usual leaving of parts of food is not really good, they gave some special food, if she likes it, we can slowly change to it, if not, okay, we keep on trying to ease the itch. Good news is, she has gained weight, 400 g, another reason for not risking that she stops eating again.
Had a short chat with one of the cardiologists. I am right, it is a sign of her illness, still at the moment it is inside the "normal" parameters, but it is good that I am noticing such things and tell them, if necessary we can increase the dose, which they don't want to do without good reason, quite clear. We will keep in touch by telephone and can react when necessary.
Met the nice doctor again, who was there twice when we came for emergency. She always gets big eyes when she sees us, but this time it was okay!

Today "we" did not have a very good day, might be the heat (we really hit the 30°) and yesterday's trip to the clinic. Hope it settles down again and gets back to a better level again!
