I think, Riitta, seeing one of the buzzards is nice, but not too surprising. But yes, I consider myself a lucky person, because I just have to sit on my balcony and wait - the visitors show up:

This one has come so often that I slowly start thinking about giving it a name, one of the three juvenile kestrels visiting the area during the last months:

Recently a sparrow hawk took a break too:

Next year's German bird of the year also is a regular visitor

Image

and this one gave me nice concerts during last summer

Image

and this one is not easy to catch, because he is so fast, flying around with the great and blue tits:

What a great video Kinga83! Thank you very much.
Although there are little skirmishes in the forum , nevertheless this is an interesting forum. the struggle with the translation program is much more annoying for me than double pictures etc

Today a Black Woodpecker (Dryocopus martins) was on a visit in the old, and almost dead I´m afraid, aspen I have outside of my house. I often hear it, but almost never see it so close, so it was a great experience.

A flock of Bohemian Waxwings (Bombycilla garrulous) have settled down at my bird feeder this spring. They usually visits this time of year, but they have never stayed for so long as they have this year.

Kinga83, your Sparrow Hawk is beautiful
Biker, a lovely sound of spring behind your house. I see it´s some weeks ago, and now we have it here where I live also
