I'm glad for Germans, well done and good luck in the next games.
But I'm very sad for England, really. I think the goal not counted played a part in the final outcome, sure the English players would feel and play much better if they wouldn't been robbed this way.
It was so unfair!

Germany has a very good team.
Sports commentators here say that the England team is not a team but a collection of celebrity individuals who don't operate as a team.
I have no idea if that is true!

I can't judge, I haven't seen them much. I think they were very unlucky and in fact the German team is very strong. So they failed. I hope they will succeed in future.

You are missed on the forums. But come back in your own time.

Thank you for your sympathy, friends.
It was a shock, so unexpected, and all the harder for being so close to the bereavement at Christmas.
I saw little of her in recent years - I wish we could have been closer.

Jo, so very sorry for your sudden loss. It is never easy, but especially when it is unexpected. May you have some comfort in the support of family & friends at this sad time.

Thank you, friends. I was shaken for a while.
There has been some delay and the funeral will be Tuesday 7th September.
Meanwhile, our translator, Liis, is taking some well-earned holiday for "a few days" (her description!)
Liis has gone to a coastal area of Sweden to admire some rocks.
When I am at a coast I love to study the rock formations to see how the land was formed. Colours, shapes - fascinating.

OK, that was a hard week, now ended.
Time to do forum things again!
Webmaster is asking if there are any Spanish speakers among our members to help with translations for the Spanish Looduskalender page.

It is already in its infancy, started by David Llorente, who would appreciate some company in his tasks.
We can start a new Spanish topic for this translation work if any members want to join it.
Don't all rush now!
