There are new topics for Super Special big pics on the Black Stork forum, the Osprey forum and the LSE forum.
Enjoy, and please post your big pcs from the season. Thanks.
This late in the season we can't be fussy about the date order. But it is a good trial for the next webcams that come our way
Pigs - Winter Feeding Ground. Who knows?

Since we were just remembering the seal cam, the hint also here - the people who can see German TV, 3rd program of MDR to be precise, can watch tomorrow August 21, at 13:15 German time a report on Vilsandi National Park. I just programmed it for recording, as I am at work at that time, but I will check if it is in the Mediathek afterwards, so maybe interested people can watch it for a short while on their PC screen. Vilsandi is the National Park where our so dearly missed seal cam was also located.

I have just checked again, but it is not in the Mediathek. Sorry - but maybe it's coming again. I set a reminder for it!

:loveshower: I have seen "our" seals! The film is really nice, have seen also Ivar Jussi (and his brother)! But the film is not new, it's already from 2001, even before Estonia became member in the EU. Still, about Vilsandi and the seals (and the birds, birds, birds) on Vilsandi and Saaremaa it was informative and interesting! Since Arte was also involved, I checked their homepage as well, but could not find it. I'll be on the lookout, as I wrote, I have set a reminder, if it is shown again I'll hopefully get an information.

Owing to a technical hitch yesterday, webmaster will do a back-up from yesterday. That probably means that posts from yesterday evening and today will be lost. Keep anything important until later. I don't know when he will be able to do it, yet.
Sorry - things happen :help:

NancyM wrote:We have a bit of an emergency with the forum software - a fast restore of a backup is needed. If it is possible to do this, we will lose posts that have been made over the past one hour or a bit longer.

If you post anything new, it MIGHT be lost, so you might prefer to wait.

I will post again when the issue is resolved.

Thank you for understanding and being patient.
There is good news about the back-up -
IT WILL NOT AFFECT THIS PART OF OUR FORUM, so we can carry on as usual on all our topics.

Wow, what a relief.
Thank you, webmaster.
