17:37 (local time) Egg 2 is here!
I saw the egg arriving, sent this msg and went to sleep. Now I saw a msg in red, and the msg was not sent. Don't understand what was wrong?

the 2. egg - Congratulation to H&M and all of us
The same date, the second egg is laid, as last year E9.
Hopefully this will be a good sign for a peaceful growing up of both.

SWFL Eagles ~ Intruder.. Harriet Takes Care Of It~
An Intruder lands in the nest tree high up. Harriet is on the eggs and vocalizing. Harriet waits for Dad to arrive home before she flushes the Intruder out of the nest tree. Dad drops down to the nest to protect the eggs and it looks like he had brought in a small piece of food with him.Harriet satisfied the Intruder is gone, drops down to eat the small amount of food.
Video captured by deeagle55- Thank you!

SWFL Eagles ~ Harriet Wind Surfing (Drying Wings) After Bath + Closeups 12.8.17 video by Lady Hawk https://youtu.be/9oBVQnHcc50
Lady Hawk:It was a windy afternoon at the nest as Harriet is seen with a very full crop. Both Harriet & M are eating off the nest most of the time until after the first egg hatches. Harriet takes a bath at the pond and afterwards flies to the church side snag tree to air dry her wings. It almost makes her look like she is wind surfing!
