Family activities this evening, 18 April--

19:13-- Everyone together. Mom brought some hay to the nest (holding it in her left talons.)
Image

19:14-- Mom watches Dad leave.
Image

19:15-- Dad returns & there is a tiny argument over the small fish Dad brought.
Image

19:19-- Mom's lunch; the eaglets are so full they are not much interested in eating now.

19:20-- Together again, a truce between parents.

It's raining and the eaglets are hiding under mum as well as they can. They are growing, so it's crowded. Poor mum looks a bit miserable:

Vian, someone is close to home  ( I think I see white tail feathers, so maybe it's one of the parents?)

- I wonder if she is visible as a little spot on the branch above the nest:

The Sooner eaglet is growing, and he is getting more and more dark feathers:

There was a storm at Sooner Lake last night ( according to the American forum) but the Sooner eaglet and his/her parents are fine. The eaglet has grown a lot, and is almost as big as his/her dad.

:loveshower: The eaglets are growing so fast, getting darker & darker feathers. They look quite healthy. And they have big yellow feet to grow into!

The eaglets are getting into the gangly teen-ager phase.

A chickadee scolds at the eaglets (heard, not seen).
