Decemcer 5th
For me it's always funny, when Juliet encourages Romeo to get up.
He seems to be keen of incubation duties.

NE Florida – Romeo&Juliet

This time Juliet had to nibble Romeo's head feathers and even pull his wing feathers, to force him, to get up.
According to my calculations it remains two weeks to the first egg hatch.

3:48 PM Intruder alarm.
Romeo flew into the nest and both guarded it. They are a harmonious team.

What a exciting evening!
4:50 PM Juliet was on eggs and started screaming. It turned out, that a juvie was sitting on the branch close to the nest.
Juliet calmed down soon and they were watching each other.
It was beautiful eaglet about two years old, maybe past hatchling of this couple.
Romeo flew to the nest at 5:28 PM and then the juvie flew away.

There are some problems at SWFL: " Viewers may have noticed Harriet having some balance issues this morning. Because of this abnormal behavior, The Pritchett Family has contacted Florida's Federal Wildlife Center and the local rehabilitation center, C.R.O.W.. They will continue to monitor Harriet's condition and if necessary C.R.O.W. and the FWC officials will decide how to proceed. This is an active nest and any interference will be at the direction of FWC"
