7.30am Waiting for breakfast... Kids showed each other what a nice feather they can find...
At the end NE3 could not stand that junior is so good at this play, stood up, pecked NE4 and took his feather...
- Now, who is the Boss?! NE4 turned off saying... ...Okey, okey, you are.... 8-)

Left NE3, right NE4

Investigating each other...

c/o Harriet & Ozzie

Last night local time Ozzie was eagerly swallowing a mammal pelt (supposed to have been a goat baby killed earlier by a coyote - there is a goat farm nearby the nest) and got in choke trouble with it - until the wise wife Harriet hurried to help and drew the skin out of her husband's throat:

One of the chicks is really eating fish, properly, him/herself 18.10 Finnish time! And the sibling is joining him/her, they both know how to tear the flesh!

NE3 bullies NE4 every time, when the food is brought. Last year Delilah was also dominant, but not as to such an extent.

Fortunately NE4 is smart and manages to get food.

He also started to mantle the prey.

NE Florida – Romeo&Juliet

:hi:

AEF-NEFL Eagles 2-1-15 A Squirrely Morning
Squirrel was on the menu this morning along with several fish. A total of 3 squirrels were brought in with about an hours time. Some great fly in/outs along with the little ones trying to figure out how to get that squirrel open so they can self feed.

http://youtu.be/NiPhutdKrRU

lstaudt_AEF:
Hamlet Update! Non-stop deliveries of squirrel (3) and black sea bass (3) so far. Leftover possum enjoyed by J. Pantry still stocked, likely ahead of tomorrow's rainy forecast. Self feeding by NE4 has been impressive as he worked on a whole squirrel haunch, tearing it in two and finishing it off at 10:40a. Juliet has been on alert, and R & J have been vocal today since wee hours of the morning. Winds picking up, a beautiful day for soaring!
