11:26, local usa time - It looks like it's windy in Sooner nest, and the little eaglet want to seek shelter under mum. I have often seen him/her do that, it's so cute:

Mama serves rabbit for lunch. The babies are getting big already! :bounce:

After lunch it does not take long for the chicks to have a nap.

Fish is on the menu. The chicks argue about who gets to eat the biggest bites, & the poor middle chick gets abused by both the eldest & the youngest.

Both parents were feeding the chicks. Mama took off for a little break time leaving Dad with babysitting duties. He tried to corral all his youngsters under himself, but they are growing fast, & he is not as big & wide as Mama, so it was difficult. The horses in the pasture beneath the tree are seen at the upper right side.

A quiet night, frogs singing, Mama takes time for herself to preen thoroughly as the babies nap-- then the chick at the front gives us a surprise. :rotf: It was so unexpected-- and loud-- that I burst into laughter.

Then the family got all settled down for a good night's rest.

Mama fluffs up the nest material during the night. The home must be comfortable for her little ones.

The Vian eaglets are doing flight training, flying around from one side of the nest to another. I wish the other cam was working, then we could see it better.

It won't be long until those Vian eaglets begin flying out of the nest. They are huge compared to the Decorah eaglets.

The little ones are sleeping everywhere-- eldest lies across a dead fish, younger two are butt to butt in the center of the nest as Mama provides shade.
