While the eldest sleeps on the fish, the two younger ones have an opportunity to eat as much as they wish. The eldest one at the front keeps twitching & shifting in its sleep, but it does not wake up for a long time. Finally, after the othere two have had a good meal, it wakes & scrambles over to Mama for some lunch, too (not on this video).

It is a nice evening in the nest & the eaglets are napping under their parent.
Mama talks back & forth with Dad, who landed on a nearby branch a short time ago.
The eldest eaglet gets the largest share of food at this feeding, although the others do get some, too, after the firstborn has a little.

This one also looks like it is beginning to show a few dark feathers on its "arms." They are still such cute babies, though! And the chick at the Sooner nest is getting bigger, I see.

Tonight, the family is quite peaceful in the nest.
Kitty and Venegor, thank you for your beautiful pictures and videos Now I can clearly see that the black feathers are beginning to show on the Decorah eaglets..they are growing fast.

Venegor, thank you for the movie of the little one exploring the environment. What a cute little eaglet! It's getting big, too.

Very, very windy at the nest today (26 to 30 mph or 41.8 to 48.3 k/ph). Mama huddles over the eaglets to keep them from being blown away. The cam panned around a bit to show the horses, & it showed a beautiful apple tree in the background.

13:54, local time - fish is served to the Vian teenagers. The oldest eagle eats itself, but the youngest still need a little help:
- but the oldest eaglet want the food to herself, so she snatch it:
- stong wind at Decorah, one eaglet is sleeping on the outside, the two others are hiding under mum:

About 17:45 local USA time--
Mama & her eaglets enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Sparrows chirp & the redwinged blackbirds sing in the background.
Venegor & Lussi, you both got some interesting photos of the Vian eaglets in the rain. Thank you for sharing. I especially liked Venegor's photo titled "Dreamers."
At the Vian nest about 18:00 local USA time-- The eaglets are doing wing exercises & playing with sticks in the nest. In the view of the nest tree, you can see them bouncing around at almost the top of the tree (about 1 second after the view in the close-up cam).
About 19:00 local USA time--
Quiet evening. How big the eaglets are getting, & they all show signs of dark feathers coming in now. In the background, the horses whinny to each other.
