It was nice to watch the ravens. At one moment there came more and more.
And they made a kind of circle and moved around for a while. It was not around the food.
Has this anything to do with the the beginning of the courtship?

This behaviour was seen once before (and I missed it again  ). It is so very interesting! I imagine it must be part of their courting ritual but have found no mention of it anywhere yet.

Is it a buzzard on the feeding ground now or is it some other kind of bird of prey? Somehow it does not look like usual but I am not very good in brids of prey recognition.

This is the bird I was talking about. On reflection, it is probably just a buzzard, is it not?

Thanks verlit !!
I'm sure you will see it yourself!
It was very interesting to see the ravens.
First I thought it's way too early for courtship but last weekend I saw the goldeneyes and the Great Crested Grebe very busy with a beginning of courtship, both sooo beautiful.
This ravens reminds me of the avocets, they make a circle too.
At this picture the ravens were walking after each other and they walked in a funny way, also making theirself bigger.

At 7.59 landed a buzzard, the same who was here yesterday evening. It walked at left side, I don`t know, is it there anymore or not...All ravens are here and they don`t give place to other birds...

Yes, but is it blackbird song in the background or imitation - quite good, but slightly one-phrase-only - by somebody, do you think?
Edit: sorry, no blackbird, had some other page open, with background sound.
There was a snatch of blackbird song early in the morning though.
