Finally the fox may get a bite.
This poor fox is so out ravened and magpied.
I set the viewer on automatic so I have LOTS of fox images

the fox is very careful about the food: it sniffed from far before it tried to take a bite. and all the time the birds are teasing it... magpies are pulling it by the tail, just like they pull the eagles.

And the birds divert it to chase them so that it does not have time to eat the food.
But it is a lovely fox

i think the fox got a piece off the food lump and ran away with it.
it was a very beautiful healthy fox!
a raven saw the fox out.
there's also the cheeky magpie on the foxes tail again!

ame it does look like the fox has a bite to eat as he runs away. I saw it get several bites, so despite chasing the ravens and magpies it did get some food.

my player is striking again because i'm uploading video.. so i can't see or hear now...alice44 wrote:Are the ravens courting?
they could well be courting already, as they start nesting very earliy, earlier that the eagles i think... i've began to suspect that also the hooded crows have already formed or are forming couples: they usually come there in pairs on the seal shore.

This hungry fox left and an eagle sat on the ground for a while!

So sad that this cam picture is so bad...
