Thank you, Fireblade1! From this video you can see how this cam can move. I think that I take for me free time, there is nothing today to see. If I see an eagle there then I will move the cam.....

The Estonian language page is published, and the English version will follow, as always

This is a Pan Tilt Zoom camera which Mutikluti will operate for us.
Here it is - http://www.looduskalender.ee/node/12041

PS. Have a look at the camera sponsor, KIK (Environmental Investments centre) home page - first time I started hunting for that ant crawling across my screen ... :innocent:

The KIK ant. I watched him for a moment or two. He appeared a few times but always followed the same route. Then I refreshed the page and he took a different route.

...altough i didn't quite understand what this was about :puzzled: : "...the images from the camera this time cannot be viewed in the ordinary format of the standard media players; the camera images must be viewed in the browser. This may need some new approaches in saving videos and images ..."

Oh that explains why I could not get it into VLC player :bash:
At least for screenshots - make screenshots like they are made, but it is delayed a little bit, so it's going to be more difficult to catch something. As to videos ... :puzzled: - back to Screencast?

We can see it via JW player only. We can't use our usual WMP or whatever is normally used, But it is a good picture. The zoom is amazing!
Sound is on all the time. If they get snow, do you remember the fox being visible at night, last year?

That is going to be a serious problem, unless someone finds a way to record. Screen captures are easy enough, even with Snipping tool. But we do like our videos and sound

I have tried Screencast, but one negative aspect is, only this camera, this screen as long as recording lasts, and I don't find the adjustment for the sound where I do get the camera sound, but not whatever else runs on my PC, or even worse, goes on in my living room :faint: That's why I switched to VLC quickly!

I use Avian Replay Video Capture: website: http://www.applian.com/replay-video-capture/

You can down load a trial version and then there is a 30-day money back offer if your purchase it and do not like it.

I love this program! It will record anything! I have used it for 2-3 years now.

It was getting very dark, but I recorded 30 seconds from the LK page where the cam plays, and then I uploaded it to You Tube. I made the cursor move around on the picture, just in case it was too dark, but I think you can still see shadows.

http://youtu.be/9O8evJ3DymE

 the You tube tags do not work for me .. please click the link instead :banghead:

PS to FLeur: the program you mention (freecorder) is from the same company as the one I use - but it is meant to record things like YouTube videos - I am not sure it will work for original streaming video like this cam. It will be good to find out!

Good morning :hi:

@ Nancy , I just try it out, but I am not satisfied.
I think I will have to buy it .
only takes a few minutes record and then you start over again.
Maybe someone else have a good tip.
Previous years I've used RealPlayer, but in one way or another just do not want anymore.

The wind is lovely to listen to.
