Ame's work deserves several gold medals! ame - you are a star.

The rest of us would settle for silver medals, rightly earned by our devotion to eagles, ravens, raccoon dogs and foxes.

Topic unlocked again!
As it seems that the camera is still working, we may see something of interest and want to record it here.

There is a raccoon dog, eating the old boar hide, now.

My last pictures from the Eagles Winter Feeding Ground 2012, I think - it`s quiet, now the birds are soon occupied by other important things..

Also THANKS a lot from me to all for photos, videos etc.
and to the "zoomers" that patiently have been on work every day during so long a period.
And thanks to Urmas and Renno for setting this up and telling about the eagles we saw. And to whose who came with foodsupply - and to all other people behind.

I have enjoyed very much every time I had time for it to have this unique possibility to try to learn more about how WTEs look at different ages in a way I do not have in real life where they often are far away. Thanks! :D

Btw last year 2011 the 28th of January I saw a young eagle here in SW Zealand that was ringed with the same colours as the young swedish WTE we saw recently - so some do come far from this region.

@ Ame nice work you have done :2thumbsup:

Hope we meet again
Eagles better know how to live their lifes than humans do on their behalf

the WtE database at LK created by the forumist Maertha is a goldmine of knowledge and news

Thank you, Lussi.
My hubby looked the "Formel 1" racing at 7.00 in the morning, so I had an early walk with my dog in our forest and I met five deers, it was a nice start into the day! :headroll:

There is nothing to see, but a lot to hear this evening.

First some animals were screaming/howling half an hour ago. Then a dog was barking for minutes.
Now I can hear (with headphones) some steps and cracking, I think an animal is eating.

What a nice morning walk Pitti. My husband is also a Formel 1 fan. He has been looking forward to the race for weeks now, so he was also up early. But I was in bed, reading a nice book and listening to the beautiful birdsong outside the open window :book:

What a surprise to see the cam was open today. It is very dark there now, but I also have a few photos I made in the last days that I forgot to post, so here they are-- some of the raccoon dog the other day, also of ravens getting boar hair for nests.

While I was in the other room I heard some Raccoon dogs. I could not get to the computer but it was too dark to see anything.
