I have made so many snaps today, though it is not nearly as easy as it would be with VLC - wonder how many I would have made with it!

...actually now that i look at the pictures at the same time i see it is the exactly same picture!! what a coincidence... i'll leave mine there for fun.

i think in this the other eagle must be uposide-down, too.

an adult eagle was the last one to stay and eat in the dusk at 18.03 just a minute or two later it was gone.

Such good pictures & videos after the cam finally came on. Thank you for sharing, everybody. Sometimes there were SO many eagles in the tree or in the tree & on the ground! The "tail-waggers" are funny. And there were several squabbles about the food! What great action shots you all got of the fighting! All the birds seem to get extra hungry when there is a snowstorm. I find myself wondering when one of the eagles will get tired of hacking off bits of frozen meat or fish & decide to grab one of the ravens or magpies! I think that happened at least once last year.
