I have searched for and added last Sunday's bird!

Ooooooohhhh! What a day you all had! Eagles & more eagles! Eagles mantling the food pile to protect it from other hungry ones. Eagles fighting! Wow! And the young eagle pestered by the ravens. :rotf: The cheeky little devils! They knew exactly what they were up to, didn't they? Especially the one that pretended to snuggle up to the poor young eagle.

 Thank you so much all cam operators, & to Renno for info on the ringed eagles, & to everyone who posted videos & photos. I will not be able to watch for today (my tonight) as I have a luncheon date with a friend tomorrow & need to get sleep. But I always know I will come back & see a wonderful record of the day's events here. So have a great day, everyone! I will be  shortly. Perhaps I will dream of eagles!

A few birds, all ravens?, have flown into the tall trees at the near edge of long island.

I wondered if maybe one of the birds I saw flying was bigger and sure enough -- there is an eagle up top one of the trees.

Already I am feeling that my brain is not taking in all the swooshing, the jay goes back and forth, a raven flies over and around and something seems to be moving at the edge of the camera view.

8:53 more calls

And the birds seem to be walking round and round the food on tours of inspection

And then they decided it was fit for eating.
