I remember that my first eagle and black stork years were like that! Nothing got done until a webcam failed for a few hours!Fleur wrote:sound black woodpecker
I should really do something in the house.
It is very tempting to keep looking.
Especially when Mutikluti is zooming

Just now I found the cam is online, so I hope the view is back soon. It is an amazing view we have and so good Mutikluti is our "zoomie". Thank you for that Mutikluti Maybe (just speaking for myself) it is good that the cam is not working because I have too little time to watch. I have to wait till next week, but then I will have it online during the whole day I can hardly wait.Jo UK wrote:No picture!

No picture, for me too
I have the first screenshot (I think the same almost everyone has)
from the morning, but I guess, for the moment no film clips.

I also don't have a Mac, and I looked at the instructions already (and tried to find an old posting of mine where I remember I mentioned what I used to have as adjustment), what Screencast shows and what I "have" is differentKitty KCMO wrote: Oh no, I don't have a Mac, I use Windows. The Help videos on the Screencast-o-matic help page does have instructions for Mac computer, I think.

Webmaster is trying to find the right people. I expect they are all out, playing in the snow!

Fleur, I forgot -the trial version offers only limited recording time, like 2 minutes or so. With the full version, you can change the settings and record for as long as you want - I have sometimes set it to "unlimited" and recorded for several hours when I am away (I also had to purchase an external hard drive of 3 terabytes to hold all those large files )

Heavens, Nancy. I am just trying to imagine all those hours of playback!
Can you fast-forward and choose the parts you want to keep?

yes, Jo (I recorded all of the Hornby Island eagle season last year and then edited bits in Windows Movie Maker).
I just realized that I answered Fleur's post on page 2 and now you are all on page 5! Sorry !
With the Replay software, I think you can set the file to convert to another format when you finish the recording - but I have not looked at all the settings recently and don't quite remember.

I think that I may buy it. But I will wait until this webcam season gets going, first.

Trying to understand why some members can't see the camera view. When I tried the pontu link, it took a long time to load, and just looked like a black screen for longer than we are used to, but then it came on.
I logged out - it still works.
Maybe we need webmaster again?
