the eagles stuffed themselves with easy food and by noon all flew off to the trees.

there's the lazy atmosphere of having seriously over-eaten at a feast at the feeding ground. even ravens and crows have had enough, i think. they seem to circle around the leavings just out of a habit. they are even too tired to say anything...

then suddenly, without a warning call or any other apparent reason, they took off and flew away... :puzzled:

i think i've heard sounds of dripping water all day...

Thank you for all the pictures and videos! :headroll:

Recently there was an interesting WTE article in the Finnish newspaper Raahen Seutu.
Do White-tailed Eagles kill dogs? :puzzled:

Thank You all for taking pictures and videos!

Based on your videos there were at least 11 different WTEs including three ringed birds (Y445 - EST 2005 born 10 km away; V331 - SW-FIN 2007; Z848 - FIN Lapland 2006).

Special thanks and greetings to Mutikluti who makes most of the camera zooming. Every day two months in a row it is very hard work!
