I hear a buzzard from far away.

Rain or sleet is falling & making a pattern on the water at the melted end of the bog. (You may have to right-click on the Y-tube screen & go "watch on YouTube" to see it. )

:slap: I think this nasty weather is keeping the birds under cover this morning. They don't want to get wet feathers in the cold. The sound of the rain is making me sleepy , so I think I will log off & go :offtobed: now. Goodnight / Good day, everyone. Enjoy the cams today. I recorded the swans calling to each other at the Käsmu cam last night. Beautiful sound.

I too am :offtobed: .

It is the first day of the knitting class I am supposed to teach (except there are probably not enough students) and I have to find someone during the lunch hour to let me into the class room in the basement marked in big red letters SPRINKLER CONTROLS INSIDE and I am a little nervous. I need to read to get my mind off of "it."

(and I still have a few show and tell things to get in order.)

do you others hear the sound properly from this camera, like from other cameras? i had a look here in the morning when it was on and i still couldn't hear much anything... also the sigakaamera is rather quiet for me if i open it as a webpage.

Early in the morning it is quiet at the feeding place,

 , Ame - the eagle camera is definitely much more quiet for me too. I haven't experimented much with settings, however, just noted it.

About the feeding ground lake - not just a lake, evidently a relict lake, jäänukjärv :innocent: according to the buzzard story.

Relict lake: "A lake that survives in an area formerly covered by the sea or a larger lake, or a lake that represents a remnant resulting from a partial extinction of the original body of water." (From answers.com)

Can a very small lake be a lakelet?

a lakelet! :rotf:

i have re-checked the sound settings of my laptop and they are at maximum so it can't be the reason for the "muteness" of my nova-kaamera. i've thought of other reasons for it. it may be that the speakers of my laptop are so miserable that they just can't play the sounds louder. maybe i should use proper external speakers or a headset like you. or it could be that there is so little noise from the eagle camera that it "sounds" like there aren't sounds.
there is a lot of hissing and whizzing of the wind from the sigakaamera which is actually only noise but i'm used to hearing a lot of that. i've also began to suspect that i may have spoilt my ears with the VLC-player. with that i can turn the volume really loud. (400 %! it's like having 11 on the guitar amplifier.

well that was one wet buzzard! :slap:

but it didn't seem to mind the rain much.

i didn't see it coming but it kept on eating the fish for a rather long time. my first picture is taken at 14.22 (not the one up there) and it left after the the second picture here, at about 14.41.

but oh boy is it slow to capture pictures with the Snipping tool! :faint:
is it quicker with the Replay Video Capture, Fleur? if i've understood it correct there's an option for snapshots, too.

What a nice pictures from the wet Buzzard.
But, I'd rather see a buzzard dry.

@ Ame, I will later to see if it goes faster ( I think so ) , and I have to watch a folder were the screenshots are saved.
I currently use another progr. but the pictures that I make, I have to first cut.
