Yes, it seemed they had not only hard work but fun, too  They had laughs in their faces

Finally got some possibility to check forum...
Have to make some correction about photos in Päevaleht.
Renno, Urmas, Ulvar and Ilmar participated by installing of solar panels at Linda-Sulev nest site. At winter feeder there was no Renno, but Omar (dealer of Mobotix cameras in Estonia). He prepared separate audio system for feeder-cam, as zoom-tilt cameras do not have built in microphones (motor noise will disturb).
But Renno will go soon and repair the switching system, if possible. Its not so easy to say, what is real problem if the stream is missing.

:loveshower: I will be able to watch eagles again, soon. Perhaps it works at Christmas - much time to watch and I have a better kind of taking pics - yeah :hi:
Greetings and thank you in advance to everybody who is working on the cam

hello! :hi:
it seems that we still have to wait for the nõva-camera at the eagle winter feeding place to become operational...

in the meanwhile great news: :headroll:
the eagle nest camera at Linda's and Sulev' new nest has become operational.
it can be viewed either here: http://pontu.eenet.ee/player/hyljes.html
or with VLC-player at the address rtsp://193.40.133.138:80/live/saunja

right at the moment there's a thick untouched layer of snow on top of the nest but the view to Saunja bay over the forest is magnificient.
Image

the sound is clear with no extra hizzing or buzzing. earlier today a bullfinch or two passed by whistling their contact calls. a dog was barking far in the background.

 congratulations Urmas and Renno and thank you! :loveshower:

i haven't heard anything about that but i'm afraid it will not be.
(i sincerely hope that Linda and Sulev will stay at the new nest site and will not decide to move back to the old one if there will be no camera... )

You are both putting into print the dark thoughts that I had too!!

The siting of a webcam must always have an element of risk to it. Will they or won't they use it this year?

Food has been delivered during more as a month, but we were not able to establish the proper connection. Let's hope it will be now stream without of problems. We were with Renno on place and changed the antenna in forest also provided some additional food (a roe deer I picked up from the road near Pärnu) and other carcass (without of skin) is of wolf. There are also skins of hunted wild boars and racoon dogs, with some meat left.
Several eagles were on place, but we of course scared them away. Couple of adults were quite bold actually and did not want to fly away easily. So for tomorrow there is hopes to meet some fellows from last season or also new faces.

Thank you, Urmas and Renno.

It is dark now but with snow as a background I see some movement around the food. Fox? Raccoon dog? It's wonderful to have this webcam again.
