Interesting, she brought a worm which was immediately grabbed by the big one. Mari tried to pull it out of his beak to give it to the small one, no doubt. In that 'rope pulling' confusion I think the small chick managed to snatch the last piece of mouse the big one was eating.

The two were together when there was a very quick delivery of a vole at 16:29.



A fierce fight started for the prey and it became very nasty from the side of big one.
I think he nearly killed the small one.

Hope not much more. This is the third mole/mouse for the big one and he has eaten maybe 2 worms also. Hope he soon have full crop, so the small would have a chance too.

Thankfully it has not been as rainy day as forecasted.
