I believe, it is a Female

Looks like Zile with the brownisch head - and poops like a Female.
The whole behavior is different from that of Ozols.

Liz, I returned late and had not so much time to observe, but I have a feeling that it is Ozols...

EDIT: I just hope that there is no stress with the Tawny Owl. Tomorrow we'll see if we can see whether it's male or female. I'm tired now.

We cannot see anything in the dark but hear the birds and the gurgling of the creek....

Ja tā skatās bildes un video https://dabasdati.lv/forums/viewtopic.p ... &start=680 , tad jāpiekrīt Liz, ka no šiem diviem tā drīzāk varētu būt Zīle (labajā pusē) - brūnā galva un gaišais plankumiņš, nekā stārķis kreisajā pusē, t.i. Ozols.
Bet stārķos neesmu nekāds profis atpazīšanā. Jāgaida otrs stārķis un tad jau redzēsim kurš ir kurš.
