It is gettting too dark to take a picture, even if Guste is coming to the nest. So, have a nice evening you all.

Yes, getting too dark for a picture. She is still there. That upper branch seems to be her new favorite place. I just got on site, & she was there early this morning & pictures show her there most of the day.

Beginning to be lighter in the Latvian forest & Guste is still up on her upper branch. Mom was in the nest as it got dark last night but is gone now. Guste likes her upper perch!

I went away from the cam for a while. Now I hear thunder. I don't see Guste, she must be on an even higher branch or she has gone to a new area now.

7:47-- Edit: Cracks of thunder seem very loud as if lightning is quite near. And rain is increasing.

8:05-- Edit: There she is, scrambling down from the high branches to the nest!

:loveshower: Parent brought a frog for breakfast. Guste must be hungry as she "chirps" quite a lot as she begins eating.

8:54-- Edit: It is late for me, my eyes are heavy, so goodnight all, I'm :offtobed: .

Thank you for giving me this links. Yesterday I tried both of it, but they didn't work. The kind of the second one works only on my notebook, but not here with my big computer. There I must have the first link. And what shall I say?
:loveshower: Just at the moment it works. I saw the eagle and hope he will be true. My heart is jumping :hi: .
Thanks :faint:

A lot of calling by Mom and then Guste arrived at the nest. It is difficult to see what kind of prey there was this time. But during the day it were frogs as far as I saw it.

It is much more than jumping: Guste is already doing a kind of "fly-jumping" from branch to branch.

Guste is developing very fast the last days. I think we have to prepare ourselves  ......It is very good, I know, but also a little sad to have to say goodbye. Last night she didn't even sleep in the nest anymore.

Grieta is in the nest, waiting. There are some crackling branches now and again but no sign of Guste yet. Our lady is becoming independent.

Thank you , Fleur, for the wonderful video, and everyone else for the photos. As the evening light is fading quickly in northern Europe now, it is harder for me to catch the daytime action. But I can see that Guste has become quite an accomplished "dive bomber" & will soon be following mom & dad out into the world. :chick: When she goes, I will miss her.

Guste is in the nest, calling to parents. No one answers so far. So she sits & observes the bottom of the nest. She is always very observant of what is around her. It seems she is watching the flies & insects in the nest. :D Now I must go to bed. Maybe I will be able to come on the site earlier in (my) morning & see her in (her) evening before dark.
