Good evening :hi:

Thank you for the pictures, it´s so nice to see that the birds are here. I have only seen empty nest.
19:38 - But now a vehicle is nearby, and some other strange sound, I hope it´s not tree felling

On May 6th, at about 1/2 hour earlier, there is no one, perhaps I saw moving the fir branch and I must change my glasses

 Does not look too promising, by now at least one egg should be in the nest and a bird sitting on it.

Nobody in the nest, only a fresh twig, exactly like in the nest of Koit and Eha

I think they decided not to use this nest because the hawk was here.

This year I think all over Europe ornithologists witness the same, the LSE have arrived so late from their spring migration, so they have decided to skip this year's breeding. Not all, but many.

German partner of the Latvian LSE project, Schreiadler.org, has announced that this year there will be no live breeding, BOTH nests with cam stayed empty (and I think this has got nothing to do with the hawk). They have compiled a kind of "Best of" of the last years, showing once again the highlights of the last years.

It can be found here: http://www.schreiadler.org/projekte/adler-tv-webcam/

Some more pictures about the project can be found here (in German) http://www.krumenacker.de/galerie/aufba ... n-lettland
