16:38. Teo arrived with a nice fish tail. It seems that bream. Tina this time entrusted Teo eggs. She flew off with the fish. Image

In previous years we weren't able to see well how it goes in this stage, but thanks to all new technologies in phone & computer we can see it like a good nature documentary :thumbs:

It can be you saw the egg tooth. Chick need it to make a hole in the eggshell. It' a tiny thing (like a pimple :laugh: ) of especially hardened material at the tip of the beak. It disappears little by little (some days).
Pic is from another nest, you can see the egg tooths. Chick in the egg is working with it, the other one is some hours old.

Gavril, seems the fishtail was only not enough for Tina, with more fish it works for Teo and a rest in cozy nestbowl :mrgreen:

19:58 Teo brings a nice fish for Tina.Tina is in a hurry and eats fish in the nest very fast. Teo notes no chance for him to sit on eggs and he leaves. No time for Tina to eat the fishtail

Jojo, sadly nobody know if we see the chick today. Sometimes it needs only few hours and sometimes more than a day to hatch. Tina is restless now, whatever it means ...
