is it Raimis again? he is looking around and he looks like he has lost the girl...
16:59 an eagle flew by. ... then a little later Raimis came and began to wait.
17:09 MrsRaimis came home!
17:11 Raimis jumped to the left branch.

17:38 Raimis sang a little. did he get the mating thought?
i think he had that look in his eyes and that also the female saw it: she began quickly digging the nest bottom.
17:42 he flew away. the Mrs is staying.
17:47 Mrs Raimis flew away, too.

Thanks for finding the lost lady !!
I'm sure she could smell the fresh food there... so he won't get a thing now.

thanks Solo!
it was the Mrs who had a stick in her claws when she landed on the top branch. she tried to take it in her beak before jumping to the nest but then she dropped it.
if these two ever learn to build a nest and succeed in mating ...

good morning!
there's a HUGE log on the nest.
that must the work of the Mrs.
5:56 some eagle voices from the forest. i think that a male talked first and then a female answered.
5:58 Mrs Raimis brought a huge log.
6:00 she jumped to the left branch.
Abigyl, i looked what the GT "said". " a snail" and " Again the eagle is in the nest with snami, this time something meaty, it seems that again Raimis-decided to use the nest as a dining room!"
snail? i don't think so...
snami? GT has become almost useless.

thanks Abigyl! sleep well.
6:02 the Mrs flew out over the meadow to one of the oaks there .... crack! ... and she flew back with a smaller stick. -so you were right Abigyl: she brought another, too.
6:05 the Mrs flew out to the left this time. then there was a snap!-sound again, but this time she didn't come back.
7:05 a mixed flock of little birds visited the nest. there at least great tits and i think perhaps blue tits, too. i also heard the voice of a willow tit and a nutcracker called loud. and a woodpecker.

If it was the lady, her tail is now white, not dirty like last summer.
Around the early morning arrival, there was a buzzard nearby. Thanks for reminding me.
This spring they weren't on their nest so I didn't remember who's voice it was.

good morning!
5:26 the eagles sand in the forest.
5:40 a robin on the nest.
does it use the nest as its sleeping place? it's here every morning at this time and it always appears on the same place in the back.
eagles sang a little more.
5:44:40 a few more eagle's voices.

5:59:20 more eagle talk. and more. and more. can't they decide what to do first, bring stick to the nest or go for breakfast?
6:02:30 more eagle talk.
6:05 more eagle talk.
i'll come back later.
edit: i'm not sure after all if these were real eagles. maybe a jay was imitating the eagles?

8:37 a red bottom against the lens!
a greater spotted woodpecker.
edit: i was wrong. the WP that flew to the camera was a juvenile on both times.
a male visited only the nest: it had a small spot of red in the back of the neck.
8:38 the youngster was looking straight at us! please don't knock! ... ... it went off the camera.
then there were two woodpeckers on the nest.

What is this man thinking? He eats alone all the time and catching only small fish
Are those 2 still too young?
