good morning!
the eagles came early this morning, at 8:36 Raimis first.
i think that Milda brought a small stick when she arrive a little later. they worked on the nest...


8:35 Raimis went to the right branch and flew out.



8:37 he flew by the nest on the left side of the nest tree. then he came in. it was so dark still that i can't see properly if he had anything or not. maybe he had a small stick.
again they worked together and then Raimis went to the top branch.

8:45 the one from the top left. i think it was Raimis. the one on the nest has a big beak so i think it's Milda.


8:52. yes, it was Milda. she got up to the top balcony and showed her spots.


8:54 she flew away. both flew to the back left.


soon after that a raven's voice. one flew by to check that the eagles had gone and left nothing interesting on the nest.

soon after this it began raining.

mega2 saw the eagles fly by the nest at 8:33 and wrote about in the Tube chat. thank you for the observation.


right after the eagles flew by two wild boar ran by the nest behind it. i so like the snow on the ground. it makes it possible to see animals there.
in fact one of the boar can be seen already in the above eagle video on the left side the nest under the poop branches when the second eagle flew by.


i made a close-up clip of the piggies. they were probably males, they looked so big.

it has been raining water most of the day. the snow will soon be gone.

Approx 5:40 someone heard, that there is someone in the nest.

Good Morning!

Wind was very strong all night. Late in the evening I had to mute the sound.

07:40 We can see the nest is moving even in the poor dawn light.

About the noise earlier : there was also noises at 07:45 07:50 07:53

Might be movements of furniture because of the wind.

08:30 we can see the nest now and there is nobody there. If it's not the sticks - may be it's a squirrel from the basement??

yes, it was the Moon in the sky. it's only a narrow crescent now, 0.14 % of full Moon, but even that narrow edge is very bright in total darkness.

i'll try catch the sounds...
i think i got the squeaks. i can't say what it was. if i had to guess what it was i would say that some sticks were rubbing against each other.


i think i hear similar sounds now, too. i'll have to make a reference clip later. the sound in the recording that i have so far is bad. (i had to restart the recording program. it didn't wake up properly on the first time.)

i made one reference although the sound was still bad.

the rest of the sounds were probably sticks and cones, too, banging against each other.

9:38 Raimis landed first and Milda right after him. they worked a little. then Raimis jumped to the outer left branch.


9:40 Raimis flew out to the left and then he made a curve to right and continued over the meadow.


9:44 Raimis flew by from right to left. ... and soon he flew in. i'm not sure if he brought anything. maybe hay?
yes, i think he did bring some hay.
again some 'work' and then Raimis went to the left branch.

Milda stood on the nest and waited and looked around. i don't know if she saw Raimis flying there...

the sky is grey although the moonlight "promised" clear a sky. the funny sounds continue. this was like a call of an exotic bird.

12:31 a raven raven came for a visit. he sang "aung - aung - aung"... then he pooped
... and sang more.


14:10 it has started to snow again. this time the flakes are coming directly at the lens. let's see how long we can see...
