(before that there were the funny bird calls again. i made a recording of those similar calls that we heard earlier and uploaded it to xeno-canto as a mystery voice. one perso has said that it's a raven but the question is still open.)

7:07 Milda returned with a big stick. they worked together. ... and Milda dropped one stick. then she went up to the branch. Raimis continued peeling one of the sticks. that's very useful.

in the morning apparently a sparrow hawk and a squirrel visited the nest while i had turned my live recording off for recording the delayed stream without interference. fortunately mega2 has made pictures of them:

the rain has stopped, at least for the moment, but the clouds are thick still and the sun peeks through only a small opening in the sky. the 'bright' size in this weather is that the oak leafs that Raimis has brought will remain fresh for a looong time.

no eagles have been seen nor heard.
