Macdoum, as far as I know, there is now cam for online watching. They catch videos regularly, and you can see them on their website.

The same here!
We are planning the replacement of power system 'brain', to exchange with Lesser Spoted Eagle system 'brain'. But can't say now, when it could happen - there is quite difficult logistic and we can act on place only in darkness (better some windy night). Also we need to take fresh batteries with (about 40kg each...).

Oh, Good heavens!
That will be a mighty effort. I am trying to picture Urmas and friends, carrying very heavy weights, on a dark and windy night, struggling through the forest.

It will be a Herculean effort. Our thoughts will be with you, Urmas and company.

I am still confused about the 2 stork nests. I know the pine marten destroyed the eggs on one nest; did the other nest also have eggs already? :puzzled:

:hi: JeriTru.

The Black Stork nest which was raided by a pine marten was in Belgium. It is not a Looduskalender webcam, but, of course, everyone is interested in the fortunes of black storks.

"Our" black storks are in Estonia, and the webcam stream is organised by Looduskalender.
