Re: Bear Webcam
I put the speakers on, but I hear nothing? If the engine, maybe the vandals?

Obviously not so far, bc as someone else marked, I heard the dog barking too. And some engine, as cars on the road.. The pig cam wasn't far too, there was the road and barking dogs and domestic cat visiting. Bears are quite courageous here these days, so the cam doesn't have to be necceccarily in deep forest.Felis silvestris wrote:When something like this happened at the pig cam, Peep had made a greeting
But this I don't know. I thought the place is so far away from civilisation?

Looks like. On the pig cam I even heard trains on a regular basis.
But that's also exactly what I was thinking about today morning - how different wild life is in Estonia. Bears, wolves, eagles, more or less integrated into life. I just have to think what happened to the first bear who dared to enter German territory after 100 years ... and the reluctance people see that wolf and lynx are actually dare to come back, my name sake has to be re-introduced to forests with animals bred in zoos ... People in Estonia put up a cam and let people take a good look at their nature!

I am going to do something else first, and come back later.
I am curious what is going on....

Heidu That was a GREAT picture ( I thought it was difficult learning to upload images, I had to get my son to show me, I have to see things "live" , especially this computer stuff.. ) Now I can hear Ravens, a Cuckoo and Chaffinches.heidu wrote:I`m trying again http://imageshack.us/m/36/976/skjermbil ... 21kl02.png

I don't know if it is allowed to put this link here for german people to read about "Alutaguse". But perhaps we can read about it soon in the translated frontpage. Then I can take it out again. :peek:

I just found this new cam and I like it! Such a beautiful picture. It started just two days ago and now there are already 6 pages! At the moment it is very quiet and no animals to see. Have a good evening
