The buzzard got the meat off the table - so suddenly that it fell down

The ravens try to get to the meat and the buzzard is trying to protect it as it cant fly off with it....

Hello everybody
Since we have discovered these great webcameras, I and a lot of my friends from the Czech Republic, are following them daily. Most of us visit the same Czech forum and you can often read exclamations like: "Eagle! There is eagle sitting on the tree" or "Racoon dogs are back, quickly, go and have a look!"
Anyway, I wanted to post another screencap from this morning. I love the way ravens stare at the poor buzzard. A moment later it flew away, pretending it was not interested in the meat at all

Juta's comment about your avatar made me think about avatars in general. When the Introduction and Welcome were being written, there had not seemd a reason to discuss avatars. Now might be a good time to think about our own avatars - are they in keeping with the general atmosphere of this forum? Does it reflect our commitment to the natural world?
Verlit's avatar is suggestive of a natural way of life - making use of the wool a sheep provides for us!.
I will copy this to the Picnic Grounds topic, too.
