I just walked in and found that Mr. Loner has arrived (or returned).

Jo, I missed him yesterday -- I think I had the cam open, but I forgot to look, so maybe you will get lucky tomorrow.

Wow, Alice, great photos of the fox! :shake: Looks like it was enjoying the bread, too.

I thought it very interesting the way he seemed to sit down for a few moments.

good morning! :hi:

a raven has something to complain about somewhere near but out of view. a woodpecker is tap-tap-tapping its breakfast and there have been some jays eating on the ground.

beuatiful fox, Alice!
-- i've been thinking more about your question about magpies yesterday and Liis' answer. i think i've heard fieldfare voices here but it's impossible to say whether i've seen one. their colour is so much the same as the ground. a blackbird i have seen a few times and i'm sure i had heard magpies before yesterday. i also looked through my picture-album but did not find any pictures of a magpie. (i've started to try not to save no many pictures any more. the bar showing the stauts of the memory status of my hard drive is sooo long and red. yesterday i spent a lot of time cleaning the picture files and there's still a lot more to do...)

now they walked around the mud pit and are spreading food around.
Image

"Äla menä sinne! siellä muda." says a man's voice many times (or something like that; i don't know about the spelling) meaning "Don't go there! it's muddy there."
