it is so easy to eat the fresh non-frozen meat.
but it is so wet, too. look at this poor youngster: wet at a sewer rat.

the eagles stuffed themselves with easy food and by noon all flew off to the trees.
now there's a buzzard eating. the meat is well more than halfway gone.

there was an eagle from SW Finland with orange over blue. it looked something like V2 (or is it W?) on the orange but i can't make heads nor tails of what is on the blue.
it grabbed a piece of meat and flew away.

there's the lazy atmosphere of having seriously over-eaten at a feast at the feeding ground. even ravens and crows have had enough, i think. they seem to circle around the leavings just out of a habit. they are even too tired to say anything...

then suddenly, without a warning call or any other apparent reason, they took off and flew away...
i think i've heard sounds of dripping water all day...

Thank you for all the pictures and videos!
Recently there was an interesting WTE article in the Finnish newspaper Raahen Seutu.
Do White-tailed Eagles kill dogs?
ame made a translation for us. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=236&p=129371#p129371

Thank You all for taking pictures and videos!
Based on your videos there were at least 11 different WTEs including three ringed birds (Y445 - EST 2005 born 10 km away; V331 - SW-FIN 2007; Z848 - FIN Lapland 2006).
Special thanks and greetings to Mutikluti who makes most of the camera zooming. Every day two months in a row it is very hard work!
