Felis, thank you for news of Blacky. In the picture, I can see she is really enjoying her nap in the patch of warm sunlight.

I hope Macdoum is well, too, & hope to soon see her posting more often.

Never praise the day ... or rather, the night. Today I am coming right from the clinic, I had to leave here there in the morning, as she had started to breath quite fast again and the x-ray showed again water in the lung. It's heartbreaking, as otherwise she is looking good, eating, sleeping, even playing a little, interested, smooching ...
It seems the dose of the medicament necessary to keep the water out can't be found at the moment!

In the meantime the clinic has called and Blacky is feeling okay again, impatient to leave. She has to wait until I have finished my work here.
Problem is, actually she would need the medicine three times a day, but since I have to work, my son is away at school the whole day and my daughter does not live with us anymore and has to be at university during day, it is impossible to give it three times. Now we have to give 1/8 of the tiny pill more  , but she said they will try to cut them for me, it is difficult enough to cut 1/4 :faint:

Yes, it's almost like home for Blacky there now. The docs said, that she is quite comfortable now and has all of them around her paw already! :rotf:
And they know her and they know me :whistling: - when we were about to leave the doctor who was on duty when we came during the night and last weekend came in and she just looked like that  "already here again?"
The problem is, she needs a little bit more of the dehydration therapy medication, ideal it would be three times a day, but since this can't be done, it has to be adjusted. Another thing is, she should not vomit right after getting the various pills, which she did yesterday. It was the right thing to give again 1/2 of the Dimazon, all the others are not that important. Morning is difficult as most times she won't have eaten, so today I even provided one of her favourite treats before (and she did not vomit), but everything was on its way already. (instead of a nice treat for myself I keep cat treats next to my bed and she even has another food bowl there)
They keep on praising me for being so vigilant and knowing her so well that I can respond almost immediately when the breathing rate goes up. And praise her for being such a patient and sweet cat, never argues with them, sometimes miaows a little bit, but never bites or scratches them!
Now, keep your fingers crossed we won't have to go there until her regular check-up on April 2!

Good to hear that you are on your way as well, Macdoum. You gave us quite a shock! All the best for you, also from fellow sufferer Blacky!

Cute videos, Macdoum, the "banker" is a good catcher!

We are hanging on, Sunday afternoon had another trip to the clinic, but I think it looked more dramatic than it actually was. But all in all it's quite gruelling - I'm waiting for my holiday next week! Add "summer time" - daylight saving time to it! :faint:

I bet it will get more people on the buses and trolleys and off the streets. The buses in my town are free, I think for about one year, and ridership is way up.

Cute little guy! :loveshower: In that age they love so much to dance! Somewhere I have one of my daughter dancing, at least I hope I still have it somewhere ...

Blacky yesterday morning, enjoying the morning sun (not yet aware that a check-up at the clinic is on the schedule). She added the dermatologists to her fan club there  , though they could not really say much. Most probably she is allergic to some part of her food, but I think in the light of her severe illness, I forgo the elimination diet. I am happy about everything she eats. We added some more things to the medication, and by the end of the month will see if it helped. If not, it won't harm her.
