:D The bear is still there. It got up & went to the carcass place behind the pine tree a time or towo, but it always came back to the spot by the bush. There must be something really delicious there for a hungry bear. I am making videos trying to get a more easy-to-see one. There was some good moonlight for a while. I will see what I have later & post anything better than the first ones.

The bear just left a moment ago. It was there since 9:30 pm, so about 2 hrs & 45 mins. I have many videos to examine now & to upload the best. :headroll:

Thank you, Pitti. I have more not uploaded all of the movies before now because I had to leave for a couple of hours. So here they are:

A strip of moonlight lets us see the bear moving its head as it lies on the ground eating.

More:

And I think I have one or two more to put up, also. I did get him leaving.

More about the bear at Alutaguse. These are longer videos, & at that I cut a lot of time out of them. :whistling: On the last one, you can see the bear leaving, although I wish it had done so when the moon was shining brighter, like it had been before.

After eating there for about 2 hrs & 45 mins, the bear finally got up & left.

*sigh* How I wish there was night lighting like there was last year . . .

It is beginning to snow. The ravens were here for breakfast a while ago.

The first bear :shake: Good catch Kitty!

Pity that it is so dark, but now the full moon is slowly coming up, so maybe it'll be a bit better for a few days.

thank you Forestdoggy for the link to the program! :hi:
and congratulations Kitty for the first bear!

there seems to be a photography hide on the left of 'our' camera. it's quite large! i suppose they take nature tourists groups there for camera hunting.

at the moment there are only hooded crows and ravens eating in the forest.

Most probably the first brown bear was Trulla. The one who was wakes up by foresters.
The front foot was 15,5 to 16 cm wide. Trulla was one of the biggest males in the camera.

Bert followed the Trulla´s track, here is the story
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/12736

From Osoon video there are brown bear watching hide on the background of
`our `camera.

The Osoon TV was, like usual, interesting, though I did not understand more than half a dozen words

Right now the moonlight falls in places, it looks very romantic!
