At 11:00 I noticed Baby face! This time he didn't show his face but only his profile, but I am sure that he is Baby face.

Some more screen captures from the snow fall video:
Dear squirrel friends,
from this day on for one week I have to be off my PC more than lately. The spring is so long, and we seems to have at least one week ahead with weathers like today, a wet and snowy, cold.. I'll be back at the end of next week!.. well, only if something very special happens..
I am not sure for 101% that I am able to keep my fingers off this machine..be cause just for the moment one more female squirrel appeared.. of course I have lot of work in the garden as soon as the snow has melted..
PS: .. Well.. squirrel seem to begin to visit more often, not only once a day, mostly in the morning.
I will not stop giving nut for them, and for those birds who visit the feeder. Also other birds will get seeds, too. Only in May, littel by little, I'll stop spreading seeds under the apple trees.

The second of the three (familiar looking) female squirrels visited for two time later in the afternoon (the third one is Paula whom I think I am able to recognize better):

I must to tell that during last days we have seen several White-tailed deer here, walking up and down the hill road. I am like mad waiting to see them from the kitchen window, but they are always too far to take any video or picture! Only for one time in my life I have managed to take a 'rather good' photo of a White-tailed deer calf from the second floor window. I just could not find it anymore..well...yeah..
Today there was one with antlers, without long 'branches', they were quite long and only small branch. And a hare a saw again, too, a big one and brownish. They have eaten the my little apple tree trunk. I have to saw the tree trunk, and hope that it will make a new trunk (this happened to my two bigger apple trees too, for 20 years ago..they are now alright. This apple tree would have had carmine red flowers.

Olga such a pity the deer 'ate' the apple tree. So it will not flower this spring.
Good luck with the gardening. Well that is if it ever stops snowing.
The squirrels and the birds should soon be busy with their nests.
See you again when you have time. The squirrels will be watching you outside

We will miss your reports
Good Luck with the gardening (I hope I too can get some done, it is even meant to be nice tomorrow -- not raining, but still my ground is so wet.)

It's too cold to do garden work!
I saw Paula at 7:20 in the morning. She was just about to leave. She run on the stone platform and went on eating there, sun flower seeds for birds. I think I saw her digging seeds with her 'injured' paw!! And she seemingly used that paw to run over the yard.
After some 15 minutes she saw a rabbit! Then she run to the big spruce and an other squirrel appeared there and climbed after her on the Spruce. It lasted not more than for 30 minutes and she appeared again. She was climbing up the big pine in front of the outdoor. She was on her way to the roof!

Macdoum! Thank you for the news, it is so a sad news:
I will always remember that spring and summer, 2008! It was then I got to know Black Storks and found several great people there. Some of them I have also met in Estonia!.. I whole new world opened then, to see the nature in a totally different way, thanks to Hancock Wildlife Foundation's discussion thread for the Estonian Black storks. I 'll not forget whom I am thankful for, for Richard Pitt.

Oh, I knew you could not completely stop taking pictures of the squirrels! The Goldfinch is beautiful, a lucky shot you saw him! Maybe it comes back again?
Bad thing that you could not work in your garden, but I hope that spring comes to Finland soon and you can plant many flowers!
Beautiful sunset and I hope it brings a beautiful Easter Sunday tomorrow to Squirrel Hill!
Wish you, your family and all the animals in Squirrel Hill a Happy Easter!
