Re: Estonian LSE Nest Discussion 2012 ~ Eha & Koit
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure that it is NOT Eha.
Eha is different because she irritated eyes and different lighting in nest and is compared to the female oestrus and female breeding and feeding period.
For comparison using Looduskalender commentators pictures

This is not easy But I have checked the pictures, and I think the change was clearly when Eha had her bad eye. It was probably a strain, and she looked tired and older. It was around April 22 ( If I remember correctly )

Thank you Grieta for your comparing pictures
However - I hope that Koit will come soon with food for Eha?, she is calling and I think she is hungry and I didn`t see a food delivery live until now ...

Checked the pontu pictures in 5 minute steps and saw Koit visiting at 05:13
Nest was empty at 07:19 - but only for short time.
Now at 12:42 Eha? left the nest for about 12 minutes - gone hunting?

Bea I think the calls in your video sounds like a mix of Jay, Black Woodpecker and LSE

May 10 - Good morning
Eha was in the nest when I opened the cam. She then left the nest for some minutes. It's still only one egg, maybe she has decided that is enough this season.
