the second egg!
congratulations Piret and Madis!
the labour may have not been so hard as with the first egg but Piret seems to be very tired any way. she's ice-fishing again...
i'm so sorry about your pictures, Mutikluti...
i hope there will be a solution soon...

17.49 suddenly Piret went upstairs and seconds after Madis arrived to nest. He arranged things around in nest, before he did lie down on eggs

I think Piret was chirping wildly like that because Madis had come and gone but did NOT bring food that time.
20:11
Piret has a tail wind - she got up and turned around after this picture
20:11 Madis arrives with grass (still no food!)
20:13
20:12 Piret has gone up "upstairs" and is still talking to him.
20:20 Madis flies to the left.
Piret returns within 30 seconds.

Welcome, egg
18:30 One bird in the nest, looking around
18:46 It got up for a minute, it was not possible to see the legs/a ring
It´s still very windy. I closed the cam at
18:50 – nothing special happened in this 20 minutes
---
19:35 Again one bird in the nest, very sleepy. I can´t see who it is, but it´s probably Piret, the female
The wind has calmed down a bit, every now and then flies/gnats are visible, but there are still high gusts of wind almost all the time
19:54 The bird gets up, rearranges the hay and lay down again
20:06 Loud calls from the bird in the nest, it gets up: it´s the female. The male returns to the nest for a moment
20:07 He jumps on the cam, she´s calling
20:09 She arranges the nest material
20:11 She sits down on the eggs again
20:12 She gets up
20:13 Male brings some hay
20:14 Female jumps on the cam
20:15 He rolls the eggs in the nest, she´s chirping from her place above him, he sits down
20:18 She calls
20:20 She´s still calling, he gets up and leaves. A few seconds later she jumps into the nest and sits down on the eggs

9.38 when I opened Madis was in nest but he left within a minut and Piret jumped into nest from upstairs. Shortly after rains began.
I was away some minuts and when I came back
10.02 the nest was empty - except for 2 eggs
10.11 Piret came back in nest
