Mutikluti, this dark shadow on your pic - what is that? It looks like the wing of another birdMutikluti wrote:

Gaby, here is something similar, I saw it yesterday.
I think the movements of the wings and feathers are so fast, the camera can not follow the speed.
Technical terms for it I don't know.

Yes, you could be probably right with your explanation for thisjopie wrote:Gaby, here is something similar, I saw it yesterday.

Thank you, jopie
Edit:
EEST 11:11 -11:34
Madis sat in the nest, and Piret probably sat on the cam. I could hear her and sometimes a moving shadow or a piece of her wings were to be seen in view. At about 11:34 she took off (out of sight of the cam) and Madis watched her on flying away.

19:30 Piret on the nest and now its raining. The nest looks more structured in spite,or because of all the branches and bark that Madis brought.
Thank you all for the pics and posts that show clearly whats been happening today.
Have yoou noticed how the opsreys 'bunch' their claws (like fists) when the approach the eggs for fear of harming them.? Clever ospreys. Do all raptors do this bunching of the claws nr the nestbowl
19:36 Alarm call from Piret but I think Madis has appeared on the camera housing.
She is not alarmed anymore now .

It sounds like a thunderstorm is coming up there, although the sun still shines! Those ospreys have quite open and exposed nests ... Poor Piret!

10.28 Piret pieped, rose up and then down on eggs again – at the same time shadow from Madis upstairs and sounds as he left.
10.32 Madis arrived to nest with a big piece of bark and Piret left for upstairs
11.40 Piret came to nest and Madis left
13.04 Madis came to nest, without anthing as far as I could see. Piret moved upstairs and flew shortly after

13.44 Madis stood up, Piret arrived upstairs, but didn´t come in nest
13.51 Piret is trying to dry her wings and is preening – her wing in fron of cam.
14.13 by sound to judge Piret now left

Yes, there was shooting the whole day. Sounds like the same rifle everytime, so I hope the hunter is a very bad shot and misses all the time, otherwise it meant a lot of animals

Hope who ever is shooting also gets soaked and goes home. Is there not a ban on shooting during the breeding season in Estonia?

Maybe they are not very scared but one can see them frighten every time the shooting starts.
