Re: Estonian LSE Nest Discussion 2012 ~ Tuuli & Remo
22:16 - Everyting look ok in the evening. I have peeked in during the day. I have not seen food deliveries, but I have seen Remo on the egg several times.

Hi @ all
Tuuli had a sticky feather at her beak - she flew off with it
.... and came back with a new twig

Remo is loyal, he deliver food all day. He is the only one of the three LSE males lying on the egg, as far as I have seen. I have seen Koit try for a few seconds once, but that's it. ( I don't mean to criticize Koit and Macho, they are doing a good job, but it's interesting to see their different pattern even If they are of the same species )
Great gifs and pictures

Remo delivered food. It was not especially small -- a normal sized vole, but Tuuli swallowed it smoothly in one go.
Then Tuuli talked for several minutes. It looked like Remo wanted to sit on the egg, but instead finally he took off.

Tuuli has been sitting on the nest calling now and then since Remo left. I think when he was in the nest he was quiet, just listening to Tuuli, but now that he is flying around -- sometimes I hear his voice off in the distance responding to her calls.

Remo brought a vole. This time it took Tuuli two swallows to get it down and Remo did not even try to sit on the egg.
Just a moment after Remo left
Watching someone -- maybe Remo -- fly over
