15:34 Macho delivered a very, very good sized vole and Metra had to work a time to gobble it down

Picture quality is not as good as usual, the tree with Metra and the nest is swayed hard by the wind

MAY 31 Good morning
Fortunately the wind has calmed down. Metra has been lying in the nest all morning, I have not seen Macho yet.

I have not heard Metra begging for food
The wind blows hard again

...someone has already written, and I think also that Macho brings far too little prey

Good morning :hi:
At least it is not raining this morning, but it is very windy :slap: Maybe that is why Macho has not been with food yet, and why Metra has not called. Maybe she feel that she have to protect the eggs? It is only my guess, I do not know
Compared to last year, we see much more of Macho this year (at least I do) Last year we hardly saw him at all, and Metra had to leave the nest more often. But someone from the Latvian forum told us that sometimes he can give her food outside of the nest, where we can not see (if I remember correct). I hope/think things will change when the chick arrives..I do not see Koit in the Estonian nest so often either, but Remo - he is something for himself..
(Maybe someone from Latvian forum can reassure us :help: )

Fleur, I am so happy that you saw the prey, because Macho was in the nest when I opened the cam so I did not see if he brought anything..although I assumed he did..
