15.18: Halli brought a small mammal to Pruuni, who left with it to the forest. she called the for some time.

this morning she left without food and almost silent, at least from the forest she didn't call anymore.

15.50 Halli stood up and rose to the back rim of the nest. he is looking at the forest... and preening... and looking down at the egg....

....and returns down to roll the egg and lies down.

the little bird visited Halli again this morning at 6.45 and stayed long. it had a good look at sleeping Halli from all angles. then finally Halli woke up, looked at the KBV... and yawned. :D

after that the nest was empty as Asteria wrote, but actually on two occasions. first Pruuni was restless/worried at 11.03: she looked at the forest, kaa'ed, etc, got up on the backbranch, preened there and finally returned to the nest. then again she got up, kaa'ed and purred and took off at 11.08.

she returned at 11.17 through the back branch, lay down in the nest and began to preen.

the second time Pruuni got up on the back branch at 11.50 and soon took off. this time she kaa'ed on her way out to the forest....

at 12.11 she returned via the backdoor again and lay down on the egg. it seems that she was followed by someone. Halli?

i was thinking about the same thing when i looked at the Pontu pictures: the late bird looked like Halli but i thought my eyes were joking with me... it seemed to me that Pruuni was in the nest at 21.59:

but it looked like Halli at 22.00:http://pontu.eenet.ee/saunja/2012-06-03 ... -22-00.jpg.
but apparently they made one more change late in the evening. this is special: so far it has bee Pruuni who has stayed overnight. good observation macdoum!
(and thank for ensuring that i'm not blind yet... 8-)

at 17.31 Halli kaa'ed a little and climbed to the right branch. he began to preen there...
... and returned down at 17.34. i guess he is waiting for Pruuni to return... it's as if Pruuni is beginning to loose interest...

.... and I just lost my post... :banghead:
Its a long time since that happened. :slap:
The habits of the buzzard pair are changing now. Has Pruuni lost intrest ?
Seems Halli is the most determined parent now. Constantly bringing nest material, brooding more.
Not sure who's on the nest now..18:57..think its Halli.
At least its not raining today. :D
Thanks ame for all the videos,Kitty too.

The egg should have hatched yet on Friday, so the hole is possible.
