I just had a look to the german side about the Black Stork Nest. Last year I was not with Facebook and could not watch. This year I would be able to watch, but - what bad news:
"Storch-TV 2012: Was ist mit dem Schwarzstorch passiert? Anfang April konnten wir ihn im Horst beobachten, jetzt ist er verschwunden!" ...
...that means: What has happened with the blackstork? In the beginning of April we could watch him in his nest, but now he has disappeared.
Very sad - Bleggi

While there are no blackstorks - there are two cams with white storks I am watching. Here some pictures:
1. Hammelburg (there are three cams from a private person, two cams for the stork and one for a falcon) http://www.unser-hammelburg.de/storchennest/

this pic is taken by other cam watchers - showing what happened to poor birds

this pic i made just now - the falcon with his meal

2. Höchstadt http://www.storchennest-hoechstadt.de/live-cam

Just now I noticed that on the cam of Hammelburg they found a falcon-nest now. I dont know if it is near the place we met the falcon under the roof of the churchtower or if it is another nest near that place - but look: :loveshower:

There seem to be four babies and one egg. Now one of the parents arrived

Just now I read that in the falconnest there will be 5 little ones and one egg that is on its way to be opened. Will see wether (if) there will be one more baby.
The white storks will be ringed on Saturday 16th at 16 o'clock MEZ. It will be to see live. This is planned for now. Perhaps when the weather will be to bad the date will change.
The falcon will not be a problem to the storks because the little storks are twice as big as the falcon-parents. So they all will grow and continue without fear. :bounce:

I found out that there are six babies in the falcons nest. It is worth to show them:

Mom is feeding one after another one - look at the last one, who is calling: "Hey, here I am and I am hungry, toooo!"
First you dont see how many there are. After being fed the first ones you can see the last ones better.
