Kitty KCMO wrote:Oh, I am so sorry I caused worry for all of you. I really am better, but I had been getting still so tired that I was taking naps & also sleeping much at night rather than staying up late, usually. And my husband has needed the computer for business things lately, so I have not been on as much.

And now I have read the posts & see that I missed Felis' news about poor little Blacky! I am so sorry that she has gone, Felis. But as others have said, you did so much to ease her last months & I know she was enveloped in the love of your family. She was a fortunate cat to have such loving people to care for her. Your last photo of her is just precious. She was a lovely cat.
I'm happy to have read your name, Kitty, I also got worried very much. We've had several cases of pneumonia here at my work recently and they all took a long time to recover! Take it easy - after all this is no "business" were you need to be present!
Thank you also for your kind words, Blacky is sorely missed in our home by everyone! But we know she had a good life with us and she does not suffer anymore! This was my worst fear, to let her suffer by not letting her go!

After being in a fight with two other eagles and several seagulls, this WTE had to swim 400 meters to the shore. The man who filmed the event does not know what the fight was about, but he know that it is two WTE`s nest nearby. This happened on the outside of Dyrøya in Troms, Norway, May 22. He managed to film the last part of the event, and he saw that the eagle made it to the shore, apparently unharmed.

Wow, the poor eagle! I'm glad to hear it made ashore. I wonder how long it took to dry off?

I thought the same like you, Manu - but I suppose she is on a Pfingst-holiday?

I just saw - I'm making myself a bit scarce these days. I was in London last week from Wednesday until Sunday evening, meeting friends, and coming back and getting back to routine was a bit hard, as I still have not really come to terms with the fact that Blacky is no longer around. On occasions like these it's even worse!
 But I am trying to catch up with things here!

Felis :hi:

Great to have you back here

I´m sure it is not easy for you to come to "business as usual" so short time after having lost your Blacky ...

So I hope you had some nice days of vacation!

Yes, the days in London were nice, though the queen (and the weather on Sunday) did interfere with my/our plans "a bit" ... :whistling:
