Just been watching feed, No 1 and 2 have fallen over and little one now getting fed from very large fish. Piret now broodin chicks so dont know if little has had enough.
What a difference 4 days make, when you compare their sizes.
I live outside London, and yes I also like to know where people live.
Did'nt see what happened to the fish, Maybe Madis took it away while I was writing this

Piret at the nest with a small branch, it has started to rain.
The chicks become more beautiful each day.

And they also can be very sweet to each other.

Piret with a fish (no idea where it came from :puzzled: )

She starts feeding

Edit: youngest sitting up front between the older ones.

Number 3 is getting the most food, it is doing great, its eyes are much more open and shiny.

Maybe yesterday it made some things clear to the others: I might be small, but fight for my rights too

I have chosen those pics when the third got a piece of fish! It got more than numbers 2 and 1! They perhaps were not as hungry as the mini Osprey..

It has been windy. I opened the cam at 15:10, the voice of of the storm was strong, and the skyline was jumping up and down..

Image

Chicks were a while alone. It is possible that the other adult was sitting on the cam.. I'm not sure of this.

:hi: Maertha, it is the 1st time I see those "pins" or feathers, or whatever it is that is sticking out on both sides of the body of Madis. Just above the upper leg? Do you know what it is, and what it is called? Or is it a part of the tail?

I see those "landing flaps", jopie, but I don´t know the correct term for this part of the plumage. Probably one of our experts will know it.

I am still watching it, never seen it before. Like a kind of rudders? It is amazing!!!
Edit: Urmas will know! Maybe he'll read this.
