I'm glad to see that the youngest eaglet no longer is forgotten with feeding although it still lags behind its sibblings.

Apart from that Pieret fetched some more twigs to expand the enclosure.

Showers and feed delivery took turns . . .

. . . while the little ones explored their new arranged home.

Susie, I saw the attack, too. It looked fun, the second one made him as if look like bigger, he stretched his body, rose the head up, then he watched Uno, and knocked. I missed the knock itself, it was there between to two last pics.

19:28 Madis arrives with a fish (added: see Macko's excellent picture below! Madis has 2 fish, it appears)

Image

Image

The three chicks would like to eat - one helps himself!

Uno and #2 clear themselves to make room for more.

Image

19:32
Uno and #3 are right up front and are being fed nice pieces. #2 is relaxing in the back and not even trying for food.

Image

19:34 Uno is finished eating, Piret takes a few bites for herself and continues to feed #3.
Image

19:37 #2 gets a big bite! Oh, and of course Uno wants more. Now #3 is full and everyone rotates positions - #3 moves away, #2 moves a bit closer and gets lots of food.

19:45 Feeding is more or less over

19:50 Feeding is clearly over -Piret flies off

19:34
 No 3 has gotten a super duper good feed there at the end...I was holding my breath and urging him to swallow, open beak...eat,eat eat.. :faint:
Then Uno and 2 came back for more and flattened lil 3.Whew, :slap: now I can breathe again. GOOD feeding Piret.
Thank you all for pics, videos and commentaries all day. :2thumbsup:

edit 19:46 Uno is still getting food, the very last piece of fish must be nearly gone.
I saw 2 and 3 having little ? pecks... maybe friendly ones,who knows ?
..all jostling for a position now and poop from Uno.. up and over...

19:53 Piret is picking food bits from the nestbowl and now she is sitting down to brood them. Maybe they can all now have a little snooze, including Piret.

Hi Nancy, maybe I'm doubling your observations,I just continued on posting...

19:52 Piret is back from her short break. All 3 chicks are in one churbling bouncing heap. Piret cleans up the nest a little and is settling down with the chicks.

Nancy M, love the word churbling, its a new one to add to the others, Also thank you to Manu ? for picture of Madis with two fish, what a star he is proving to be.
A lot of churbling going on at present, I can see No 1 and 2 have very full crops but No 3 is lying on his tummy so cant see. They are almost getting too big for Mum to cover.
Lovelly bunch of coloured moss on the nest,Present from Madis ?

HI Millie! I watch a number of bald eagle cams, and we noticed that when the chicks are full, they signal the parents by changing their vocalization. They begin to "bounce" and make a sound we started to call "churble" or "churbling" - and then I saw the osprey chicks do this as well!

Yes! Madis brought nest material at 20:48

Image

20:50
