Lussi that is kind of sweet and it was rather good luck that you got to hear them -- I would have just assumed that they were speaking Estonian.

Yes that's what I did at first, and I did not really listen, but then I heard the word 'pølse' (sausage)..it was unexpected, but very nice

Such a beautiful colours in the picture Fleur posted and some hours later everything changed into real night!
Must be wonderful to be there and have time enough to see
the light change and hear the waves and smell everything...

Actually it wasn't the night that made the night so dark, but heavy rainclouds. This time of year it isn't going real dark here at all. It's getting darker in the end of july and the real dark nights with grasshoppers and big moon come in august.

Good morning Cax, of course I agree with you conc. the special "light nights" and I suppose that most of the people who regularly watch the cam will know these special circumstances.
In the Netherlands we know the proverb:
"Avondrood, water in de sloot"
which means that a red sunset, like we could see on the picture Fleur showed us, is an omen for a changing of the weather and brings clouds and rain.

The humidity in the air allowed us to see a nice
full moon on July 3rd at 22.46 Dutch time somewhere
in the province Gelderland.

I agree with that red sunset. Same is here.
However, I always wonder, that such a small country and so different weather. When there was a grey seal camera, I used to check the weather there (on Vilsandi), as I live almost in the middle of Estonia. It often happened in the evening, that here was an "old dark" already, but on the Vilsandi was still a bright sunlight, lol. And there is always lighter on the opened sea, especially at summer and on the north or northwest coast, bc there the eve (dusk) meets dawn again :D Especially at the night of St John's day.

There is lots of sound and activity at the beach. People in the water. Smoke blowing from the right. Blacky on patrol.

The image with Blacky must have been just after this -- or before
