Looks like the wind is picking up at the nest. Hope everyone makes it home OK, and that stick stays out of the way.

7:26 Madis delivers a fish (guess who snatches it ...)
(yes, Nori ) here s/he is, mantling over the fish
7:28
Nori now seems a bit more aggressive than Elo

Whenever Madis delivers food the crows or ravens must follow hoping to get some free fish. Nori and Elo are very watchful whenever they fly about..........and seem very much on the defensive.....

Sometimes Uno manages an elegant landing, but not always.

Hi Nancy, are you sure about the 7.26 fish delivery? I think I saw Elo first take the fish and that he is more aggressive during the "alarm":

I am wrong Nancy maybe I just want so bad to see Nori fly like the rest and I get so tickled also at Uno when he lands I wander if he will ever learn to land correct, I expect anytime for him to take out the camera.

I did realize I had Elo and Nori switched, after they revealed their numbers

Good morning.
Wow, I see they almost got that stick out of the way.
Yesterday Nori fought with it very innovatively (is that English?), ramming it ,even flapping and jumping with the stick on the beak.
Clever Nori.

Nori is shaking head, no, rather moving the base of the neck from right to left and back a few times, while the face and eyes are focused straight ahead (in a way that resembles an Indian gesture).
Has anyone seen that kind of motion before?
What does it mean, or what is it for?
Maybe to gain better depth sight or distance evaluation?

I saw that same movement of neck by Elo yesterday when s/he was standing at the edge of the nest considering whether to take off or not!
